Central to the user interface is a 32-inch screen, meticulously-crafted for clarity and simplicity. Clustering interaction points – buttons, connector, payment terminal – creates an entirely new user experience.

Optimal Performance

The A400’s power modules have been developed by ABB E-mobility engineers for optimal dynamic charging performance and efficiency: delivering precise control with 50 kW increments.

Innovative power module architecture and Silicon Carbide technology ensure efficient and adaptable energy delivery for different charging strategies.

Patented passive liquid cooling inside the connector housing allows for 2X longer sustained current compared to traditional air-cooled connectors.

Optimized airflow ensures the A400 maintains continuous high power performance, while built-in redundancy in connectivity and power supply offers significant gains in uptime and field performance.

Rationalized subassemblies reduce failure rate and provide greater system flexibility. Each power module can be isolated, for fast replacement while the other outlet keeps operating.
